In the 16th over of the game, Kuldeep made an incredible delivery in which he got the wicket of captain Jos Buttler. The left-arm spinner took another wicket later in the innings when he dismissed Liam Livingstone for 27 runs. But meanwhile, when India got Moeen Ali in the 24th over, such a footage was played on the big screen which created a complete atmosphere. Kuldeep had bowled the 22nd over and on one ball of the over, the spinner hit Livingstone with his bat, where the ball missed and hit his pad.

After this the bowler appealed a little but the umpire did not give out. Then the captain talked to the bowler and decided not to take the review. However, later replays on the big screen showed that the ball would have hit the leg-stump. In such a situation, if India had taken a review, it would have got that wicket. After seeing this, India captain and chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav was heard talking and Rohit moved towards Kuldeep and expressed his anger at not taking charge for the review.
Spinner Kuldeep Yadav also realized that the wicket was worth taking, he had no option but to listen to his captain. However, it did not have much impact and India easily won the match.
