For the peace of the soul of former Union Minister Arun Jaitley and his other ancestors, on Tuesday, his wife Sangeeta Jaitley and son Rohan Jaitley performed the rituals of Pind Daan, Shraddha Karma and Tarpan under the direction of Kul Panda Vaidyanath Meharwar. Sanjay Jha, Minister of Water Resources Department of Bihar Government was present under his leadership. After offering Pind Daan at Shri Hanuman Temple, late Jaitley’s family members performed Pind Daan at Vishnupad Temple. During this, minister Sanjay Kumar Jha, who was present with him, also offered prayers at Vishnupad temple and then performed the ritual of tarpan in the Falgu river. From here, the relatives of late Jaitley also reached Pretshila Vedi, Sitakund and Akshayavat Vedi and performed the rituals of Pind Daan, Shraddha and Tarpan for the peace of the soul of their ancestors.
