Jharkhand’s ruling party Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) held a press conference the next day after the siege of the Bharatiya Janata Party secretariat. In the press conference, JMM’s chief spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya targeted the BJP, but his attack focused on Godda MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey. Supriya Bhattacharya objected to the statements given by Dr. Nishikant Dubey during the secretariat siege and called it a threat to democracy. He once again said that the number of BJP workers who came on the road to protest was very less. Supriyo Bhattacharya reacted sharply to the statement of the Godda MP who sent Hemant Soren and his entire family to jail.
