VIDEO: ED’s third summons to Jharkhand’s Sahibganj SP Naushad Alam, called for questioning on December 6

Enforcement Directorate (Ed) has sent a third summons to Sahibganj SP Naushad Alam and called him to the regional office in Ranchi on December 6 for questioning. Earlier, he had been interrogated in the first phase on November 28, but during that time he had adopted a non-cooperative attitude. Sahibganj SP is accused of being involved in a conspiracy to instigate ED witness Vijay Hansda and arranging for his travel to Delhi. It is noteworthy that ED was keeping an eye on Vijay Hansda after he retracted his testimony and withdrew the petition related to CBI investigation. During surveillance of Vijay Hansda, ED found that he had traveled to Delhi to challenge the order of CBI investigation and filed a petition in the Supreme Court. Sahibganj SP had arranged tickets for his trip to Delhi. After this was confirmed in the investigation and after getting the details of the conversation made on WhatsApp in this regard with a police officer, ED for the first time issued a notice to Sahibganj SP and called him for questioning on November 22. However, he did not appear for questioning in the name of seeking directions from senior officials. Later, ED sent him a second summons and directed him to appear on 28th November. He appeared for the second time in the light of the summons issued, but did not cooperate in the investigation.
