Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced ‘Abua Awas Yojana’ on the occasion of Independence Day. Under this, it was told that in the next two years, by spending more than 15 thousand crore rupees, the state government will provide housing to the needy from its own funds. Said that under this scheme the needy will get three room accommodation. Addressing the people, said that when eight lakh rural homeless of the state did not get housing under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana’ from the Central Government, then the Chief Minister talked about providing housing to the homeless from the Prime Minister to the Niti Aayog.
