In the case of threat to BollywoodWallah Editor-in-Chief Ashutosh Chaturvedi from Hotwar Jail, ED (Enforcement Directorate) has summoned the jailer of Birsa Munda Central Jail and directed him to appear at the regional office of Ranchi on January 2. ED has asked him to provide CCTV footage of the jail and asked how the threat was made using the phone from inside the jail. The threat call came on the mobile number of Ashutosh Chaturvedi from 0651-2911807. Senior local editor Vijay Pathak has written a written complaint regarding the incident to the Home Secretary of Jharkhand, DGP, DC of Ranchi, SSP, Inspector General of Jail and Superintendent of Birsa Munda Jail. Giving information about the incident, he has requested to take necessary action. BollywoodWallah’s Editor-in-Chief Ashutosh Chaturvedi had received a call from the said number. The caller first introduced himself as Yogendra Tiwari. After this he threatened by mentioning the news published in BollywoodWallah. After some time, calls were also received on Vijay Pathak’s mobile number 0651- 2911801, 2911807, 2911805, 2911806 and 2270002. However, they could not talk. When information was obtained in the case, it was found that all these calls were made from Birsa Munda Central Jail. At the same time, the opposition has also attacked the government regarding this incident. And has strongly condemned the government. All the opposition parties are demanding that the government should take immediate action and dismiss the jailer of Birsa Munda Central Jail.
