Police recovered a huge amount of explosives by conducting a search operation in the foothills of Parasnath mountain. During this time an old bunker was demolished. Giridih SP Deepak Kumar Sharma himself was leading the campaign. Police had received information that Naxalites were preparing to carry out a major incident in the Dumri assembly by-election. For this, a large quantity of explosives are being stored in the forest area around Gamhariya hill. The police force under the leadership of SP started a search operation in the area around Gamhariya hill. Security forces found a bunker near Gamhariya mountain in Khukhra police station area. When it was searched, a water tank of two thousand liters was found, in which a huge quantity of explosives were kept. The explosives contained codex wire, cartridges, electric detonator, gun powder, GI wire, synthetic and other materials. The police demolished the bunker. SP Shri Sharma told that Naxalites were preparing to carry out a major incident. Ranchi’s bomb disposal squad has destroyed the explosives. In this case, an FIR has been registered in Khukhra police station against Misir Besra alias Bhaskar alias Prayag Manjhi alias Vivek, Patiram Manjhi alias Anal, Ajay Mahato, Ranvijay Mahato, Sahebram Manjhi, Ramdayal Mahato and many other Naxalites.
