VIDEO: Anand Mahindra will gift XUV 400 EV to chess player Praggyananda

Fulfilling the dream of the parents of young Indian chess player R Praggnananda, who reached the final of the FIDE World Cup, Mahindra & Mahindra Chairman Anand Mahindra has announced to gift his company’s luxury electric vehicle XUV400. Giving information about the company’s gift of this electric vehicle to Praggnananda’s family on the social media platform ‘X’ (Twitter), Anand Mahindra said that the real goal of any car manufacturer is to fulfill the dreams of the people.

R Praggnananda was successful in reaching the final of the World Chess Championship last week at the age of just 18. Although, he lost to world champion Magnus Carlsen in the title match, but he made everyone his fan with his brilliant game. Excited supporters had suggested Mahindra, who is active on social media, to gift ‘Thar’ vehicle to Praggnananda. Reacting to this, Mahindra said that they want to gift a new age vehicle ‘XUV400’ to Praggnananda’s parents to encourage them towards the mental game of chess.

Anand Mahindra said that I would like parents to try to attract their children towards chess and promote this brain exercising game. He said that like electric vehicles, it is an investment in a better future for our planet. I think we should gift an XUV400 to Praggnananda’s parents.
