The two-day historic Mudma fair organized in Mandar block of Ranchi concluded on Tuesday. In this Mudma Jatra held on 30th and 31st October, sports shows, electric swings, well of death, swings, magic games, traditional musical instruments, weapons, cosmetics, food stalls and hundreds of toy shops were decorated. . A wonderful view of tribal tradition and rich culture was seen in it. Apart from many states, people from Nepal also participated in it. Extensive arrangements were made by the administration for the crowd attending the Jatra. Adequate number of magistrates and male and female police forces were deployed to maintain peace and law and order at the fair site. 15 watch towers were built to keep an eye on every corner of Jatra. CCTV cameras were installed at specific spots. Here surveillance was also being done through drone cameras. To maintain smooth traffic during the two-day Mudma Jatra, the administration had diverted the route of vehicles on NH 75. While Jharkhand BJP President Babulal Marandi attended the opening ceremony, Chief Minister Hemant Soren attended the closing ceremony.
