The seven accused arrested in the land scam case were sent to jail on April 14 on the orders of the court. The court heard the remand petition filed by the ED today. The court has sent all the 7 accused on ED’s remand for 4 days. Please tell that a remand of 5 days was sought from the ED. The remand period is starting from tomorrow i.e. 16th April.
Let us tell you that ED had arrested seven people including Pradeep Bagchi on the charges of misappropriating the land occupied by the army. In the list of those arrested, apart from Bargain’s CI Bhanu Pratap, the names of land traders Afsar Ali, Talha Khan, Fayaz Khan, Saddam Hussain and Imtiaz Ahmed are included. The ED produced the accused at the residence of the Special Judge of PMLA.
