Ranchi: The main function of 77th Independence Day at Birsa Agricultural University, Kanke was celebrated with enthusiasm at the university headquarters on Tuesday. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. Onkar Nath Singh unfurled the national flag and saluted the tricolor. On the occasion, the entire university family sang the national anthem together and slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Mataram were raised. On the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Omkar Nath Singh administered the oath to the university employees to protect humanity, maintain the unity and integrity of the nation, follow national religion and cooperate in the development of the nation. Independence Day celebration was celebrated with joy and gaiety at Ranchi Veterinary College, Kanke, Ranchi. Dr. Onkar Nath Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi, in his address encouraged people to make excellent contribution to the institution by following the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and Bhagwan Birsa Munda. He sincerely described the service of the institute as a part of the service of the country. He said that the lines we have drawn in the last three years, its future result will be very pleasant and better in the interest of the university. Employment in animal husbandry service is a big achievement

Dean of Ranchi Veterinary College, Dr. Sushil Prasad said that placement of 100% pass out students in the State Animal Husbandry Service is a big achievement and appreciated the efforts of all the faculty, despite the shortage of faculty in the college. He said that there are immense possibilities of employment in veterinary education. Students need to maintain dedication and hard work. Heads/Heads of departments, teachers, scientists, employees and students of UG and PG colleges of the college participated in the function. Warden Dr. Praveen Kumar and concerned deputy warden hoisted the flag in total 6 hostels of the college.

The warden Dr. Neeraj Kumar in PG hostel of the college and the concerned deputy warden in 9 UG hostels hoisted the flag. The students of the college participated in the ceremony with joy and enthusiasm. Everyone was seen dressed in the colors of patriotism.
