Varanasi: The cases of suicide are continuously increasing in Uttar Pradesh. A mathematics research scholar of IIT BHU (IIT-BHU) has committed suicide. The police reached the spot as soon as the information was received. The dead body has been taken into custody and sent for postmortem. At present, the police has started investigating the matter.
Student hanged in BHU
In fact, in IIT BHU, a student named Kuldeep Singh has committed suicide by hanging himself. Kuldeep lived in room number-88 of SN Bose Hostel located at IIT-BHU. Here he was a PhD student in Mathematics. At night the hostel students called the police. The students told that Kuldeep’s room is not open since evening, nor is he picking up the phone. The door of the room was also knocked several times. But got no reply. Police reached the spot. The door was opened with the help of the students. Where Kuldeep was found hanging from the fan.

Sources told that the deceased student Kuldeep was a resident of Muzaffarnagar. But his family lives in Delhi. His PhD was about to be completed next month. He did B-Tech, M-Tech from IIT Delhi. And now he was doing PhD from IIT-BHU. Kuldeep got married last month. Police have not received many suicide notes from the spot. Although the police has started investigating the matter from all angles. Further action will be taken only after the post mortem report comes.
Last year also a student had hanged
Let us tell you that last year M-Tech student Bhagwan Singh (28 years) had committed suicide by hanging himself in Vishwavaraya Hostel. It was told that Bhagwan Singh was in depression due to lack of placement. Due to which he had committed suicide by hanging himself.
