Then the guards got down from the train and saw that the stairs leading to many rooms had broken after hitting the platform.
The train stopped at Burdwan station for about 1 hour.
The train stood at the station for more than an hour. According to railway sources, Vande Bharat Express reached Vedia station on Burdwan Rampurhat loop line at 7.35 pm. Up Howrah Newspaiguri Vande Bharat Express stood still for 8.37 minutes. However, the initial impression of the railway officials is that for some reason the train might have collided with the platform and such a problem occurred. No passenger was injured in this incident. The repair work was completed on a war footing by the railway employees. Till now there has been no response from senior railway officials.
Two additional coaches in Doon Express in view of the crowd going to Ayodhya
After the inauguration of Ram temple, the number of pilgrims going to Ayodhya has increased. In view of this, Eastern Railway has decided to install additional coaches in the trains passing through Ayodhya. Eastern Railway has decided to install additional coaches in 13009/13010 Doon Express. Two coaches of general second class will be installed. This arrangement, which started from January 23, will continue till February 22. 13009/13010 Howrah Doon Express departs from Howrah station every day, going to the yoga city of Rishikesh. A total of 21 coaches are present in Doon Express. After the new arrangement, the train will leave with 23 coaches.
