Vaishali Superfast Express now a victim of fire in Etawah, sleeper coach brought under control after fire

Etawah News: Second major train accident has occurred in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. Here a fire broke out in Vaishali Express number 12554 going from Delhi to Saharsa. The incident took place in bogie S-6 coach near the pantry car. This is the second incident that has happened in Etawah within 12 hours. The reason behind this incident has not been known yet. Railway officials have joined the investigation of the case. It is being told that after the fire, 11 affected passengers have been sent to Safai Medical College. Eight passengers have been admitted to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Government Joint Hospital of the headquarters. The reason behind the fire that broke out in the S-6 coach of the train is not yet known. This incident happened when the train reached Mainpuri outer gate of Friends area of ​​Etawah railway station. At present this entire matter is being investigated. Rural area SP Satyapal Singh said that the fire broke out in the S-6 coach. As soon as the information was received, the rescue team reached the spot. There is no news of any casualty in this accident nor has anyone been harmed. The train was stopped for 30-35 minutes.

Earlier on Wednesday, the New Delhi-Darbhanga Clone Express going from New Delhi to Darbhanga caught fire at Sarai Bhupat railway station in Uttar Pradesh. The S-1 coach of this train was completely burnt to ashes. To escape the fire, the passengers traveling in this compartment saved their lives by jumping from the train. The accident happened near Sarai Bhupat railway station in Etawah district at around 6 pm. At the time of the accident the speed of the train was around 30 km per hour. Due to low speed of the train, the number of passengers in the bogie was double the capacity, there were no casualties in the accident. Local and railway administration immediately started relief and rescue operations.

It is being told that when the New Delhi-Darbhanga Superfast Express train was crossing Sarai Bhupat railway station, the station master saw smoke coming out of the sleeper coach. The station master informed the train’s loco pilot and guard about smoke coming out of the coach. Also advised to stop the train immediately. The loco pilot immediately stopped the train. The passengers who were frightened by the fire started jumping from the train as soon as it slowed down to save their lives. All passengers are said to be safe.
