Union Minister General VK Singh (retired) has said regarding Uttarkashi Tunnel Rescue that it was a different operation in itself because the workers were trapped so we had to save them. Singh said there were different options to reach there, some were used. The most special thing about this rescue was that it was completely guided by PM Modi. It inspired and helped in coordination of institutions, agencies and people working there.

Rescue operation work has been completed in Silkyara Tunnel located in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. After 17 days of hard work, the workers have been taken out of the tunnel. Now the question is whether the tunnel work will be done or it will be stopped. At the same time, in response to this question, Union Minister VK Singh says that the work on the tunnel will continue. Tunnel work cannot be removed except in the middle. BK Singh said that work on the tunnel will continue.

It is noteworthy that the workers evacuated from the Silkyara Tunnel in Uttarkashi district were brought by helicopter to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rishikesh on Wednesday, where they are being thoroughly examined. All 41 workers have been brought from Chinyalisaur to AIIMS Rishikesh by Chinook helicopter of the Indian Air Force. After being taken out of the tunnel, he was taken to Chinyalisaur Hospital, 30 km from Silkyara, where he was kept under medical observation.
