Uttarkashi Tunnel Rescue: Preparations to bring Shravasti workers home, met DM family, magistrate deployed

Lucknow : All the eight workers of UP trapped in the tunnel accident in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand are said to be safe. His rescue is continuing. A team of doctors is also present at the spot along with the ambulance. The NDRF team rescued them inside the tunnel and brought them out. After this information, those families in Shravasti whose family members were trapped in this tunnel have heaved a sigh of relief. On the day of Diwali in Uttarkashi, 41 laborers were trapped due to a landslide in the Silkyara tunnel. There are also eight workers from Shravasti. DM Krutika Sharma on Tuesday reached the homes of Shravasti laborers trapped in the Silkyara Tunnel of Uttarakhand to meet their families. Out of the 41 laborers trapped in the Silkyara Tunnel, six are residents of Motipur, a tribal village of Shravasti. On Tuesday, DM Kritika Sharma reached the laborers’ village Motipur Kala Gaon. He met the families of the workers, inquired about their condition and assured them of all possible help. DM Kritika Sharma said that the government and the district administration are with them in all their pain and suffering.

District Magistrate Kritika Sharma said that after reaching Motipur Kala of development block Sirsia, he met the families of the workers trapped in the Silkyara Tunnel accident located in Uttarkashi. He also consoled the family members of the workers and said that everyone is safe in the tunnel. Told them not to panic, the government and district administration are monitoring it every moment. Work is going on at a rapid pace to evacuate them.

Deputy District Magistrate Bhinga given the responsibility of taking care of the family

The DM told the family members that after being evacuated from there, arrangements have been made by the government and the district administration to take them to their home. DM told that workers Ankit Kumar, Santosh Kumar, Ram Sundar, Jai Prakash, resident of Motipur Kala, who were trapped in the Silkyara Tunnel accident in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand and Satyadev, resident of Raniapur of the same gram panchayat, met the family members at the house of Ram Milan. Also looked at all the arrangements for their health, food, water etc. The DM instructed Deputy District Magistrate Bhinga Piyush Jaiswal that until the stranded workers return to their homes, their families should not face any problem. Special care should be taken at the administration level.
