Uttarkashi Tunnel Accident: Rescue work interrupted due to machine breakdown, Jharkhand team opens control room

There has been some hindrance in the rescue operation of workers trapped in the tunnel under construction in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. On Wednesday, the Jharkhand delegation met Uttarkashi District Magistrate Abhishek Rohila and took complete information about the rescue operation from him. Mr. Rohila said that the rescue operation which was going on since last night has come to a halt. The machine has broken down.

Also, due to the arrival of stones, there has been a hindrance in rescuing the trapped labourers. In such a situation, pipelines and machines are being airlifted. Uttarkashi district administration is also actively trying to complete the rescue operation as soon as possible. At the same time, Jharkhand officials have opened a migrant control room at Hotel Anantam Brahmakhal, located seven-eight km away from the accident site. Through this, any information can be made immediately available to the workers or their well-wishers.
