Uttarakhand Tunnel Rescue: The rescue operation of the workers trapped in the Uttarkashi tunnel accident is being carried out at a rapid pace. Meanwhile, a message started going viral on social media that this tunnel is being constructed by Adani Group. The company has given a strong reaction on this. Industrialist Gautam Adani’s group said that it has no direct or indirect involvement in the construction of Silkyara Tunnel in Uttarakhand. 41 workers are still trapped in the tunnel after a part of it collapsed. An Adani Group spokesperson said in a statement that the group has no ownership or stake in the company involved in the construction of the tunnel. The spokesperson said that we clarify that Adani Group or any of its subsidiary companies has no direct or indirect involvement in the construction of the tunnel. We also clarify that we do not have any stake in the company involved in the construction of the tunnel. A part of the Silkyara tunnel being built on the Yamunotri National Highway had collapsed on November 12. Due to this, 41 laborers working in it got trapped. Many agencies are carrying out rescue operations on a war footing to get them out. Adani Group strongly condemned its name being linked to this accident and said that at this time our sympathies are with the stranded workers and their families.
