Saif of Bhojpur was also expelled
Shabah Ahmed alias Saif, son of Misbah Ahmed, resident of Peur in Sahar block area of Bhojpur district, was also trapped in the tunnel. Saif used to work there as a safety supervisor. The family members were disappointed as Saif was stuck in the tunnel for several days. On Tuesday, when they got the news that he would be taken out of the tunnel, there was happiness in the family.
Deepak of Muzaffarpur was taken out..
As soon as Deepak, a resident of Gijas Math Thola of Sairaya in Muzaffarpur district, came out of the tunnel on Tuesday night, his maternal uncle Nirbhay Kumar Singh hugged him. Both uncle and nephew had tears in their eyes, but they were tears of happiness. After waiting for the last 17 days, Deepak came back from the jaws of death. Nirbhay Kumar Singh made a video call to Deepak’s father Shatrughan Patel and got him to talk to Deepak. Father cried after seeing Deepak. Deepak silenced him. Uncle Nirbhay Singh along with Deepak went in the ambulance to Matali hospital, located some distance away, where Deepak was admitted.

Deepak of Muzaffarpur, who came out of the Uttarkashi tunnel on Tuesday, while talking to BollywoodWallah through mobile phone, said that our shift had ended at 4.30 am on November 12. When we started going out, we realized that we were trapped. After this we did not understand what to do. A call came from outside saying don’t panic, everything is being sorted out, you people will be evacuated. Didn’t know what would happen. Meanwhile, arrangements were made to supply food and water to us. After three-four days, the confidence started weakening and it started feeling every moment that death was standing in front. Don’t know whether life will be saved or not. We were scared. Still they assured each other that everything would be fine. When the mobile started running out of charge, a charger was called from outside. Even when we received calls from home, we did not talk much. Used to tell them that everything was fine, we would come home soon. Uncle Nirbhay Singh had reached here on the second day of the incident. We talked to him more. Sometimes I felt that I might not be able to meet my parents again. When I come out, I feel like I have got a new life. God has heard the prayers of everyone’s families. Deepak told that even food and drink were not being prepared in his house. Talked to father on the day of Chhath. Everyone was disappointed.

While talking to BollywoodWallah after coming out of the tunnel, Virendra Kisku, resident of Tetaria village of Lakrama Panchayat of Katoria in Banka district and younger son of retired panchayat servant Munnilal Kisku and Jeevika Didi Sushma Hembram, said that during the last 17 days, He didn’t panic at all. He told that after 12 hours of getting trapped in the tunnel, water, food, oxygen etc. started being available inside. Poklane driver Virendra told that even inside the tunnel he continued to do the work of removing debris etc. on daily basis. He never panicked.
