Violence has erupted after the demolition of an illegal madrasa in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. The local people created a ruckus. In view of the worsening situation, strict action was taken by the police administration and orders were given to shoot the miscreants at sight. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has held a high level meeting regarding the violence.
Order to shoot rioters at sight
After violence broke out in Banbhulpura of Haldwani, DM Nainital has imposed curfew in Ikala and ordered to shoot the rioters on sight.
