The name of the arrested accused has been given as Sabiruddin Momin (42). Police have recovered fake notes worth Rs 45 thousand from his possession. After bringing the accused to Kolkata and presenting him in Bankshall Court, instructions have been given to send him to STF custody.

STF sources say that earlier, on the basis of secret information, on the night of 31st December, STF had arrested a youth named Mohammad Aziruddin Momin (21) from JBS Haldane Avenue located in Topsia area of ​​Kolkata. During his interrogation, it was revealed that Sabiruddin Momin, resident of Habibpur area of ​​Maldah, is the master mind of the gang spreading fake notes. These days he was supplying fake notes in various areas of Kolkata. He was trying to set up a racket to spread fake notes in Kolkata.
