Aligarh: The Preliminary Qualifying Examination (UPSSSC PET) 2023 will be conducted by Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission on 28th and 29th October at 30 centers in the district. To conduct the preliminary examination safely, smoothly, fairly and cleanly, in the Collectorate Auditorium, under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Inder Vikram Singh, along with the center administrators and the Static Magistrate, to ensure vigilance, vigilance, discipline at every level and to follow the prescribed time table. The meeting was held. The District Magistrate said that 58560 competitive candidates will appear at the 30 examination centers set up in the city area. The duration of the exam will be of two hours, in which the candidates will have to answer 100 questions. He said that the gate of the center will be opened two hours before the start of the examination and will be closed half an hour before. He directed all the center administrators to keep the cloak room ready at the gate to keep the bags, mobiles and other belongings of the candidates safe.

Candidates will bring the admit card downloaded from the Commission’s website.

He said that the candidates should not carry mobile phone, iPad, pen drive, hard disk, data card, calculator, Bluetooth device, earphone, any kind of wrist watch, ATM card, any electrical material or wire, any metal item inside the examination centre. You will not be allowed to enter the examination center with any kind of machine, table, graph, sheet, map, slide or rules made on paper. Candidates will carry their admit card downloaded from the website of the Commission. Candidates should bring a photo ID proof, Aadhar Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID in original. Without this they will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.

Room inspector will also not use mobile

He said that the full responsibility of conducting the examination in a fair and error-free manner rests with the Center Superintendent. The Center Superintendent should study all the instructions given in the instruction book in depth and inform all the personnel on duty about it. Room invigilators and other support staff will not use mobile phones during the examination. Helpdesk will be set up near the entrance, where two senior teachers will be deployed and will solve the problems of the candidates.

Police force will be deployed at examination centers

He has instructed all the static magistrates to reach the center well in time and ensure arrangements there. In case of any problem, immediately inform the control room. Adequate police force will be deployed for security at each centre. Arrangements for CCTV cameras, electricity, drinking water, toilets etc. will be maintained at each examination centre. He directed that in accordance with the instructions of the Commission, quality training of all chamber inspectors should be conducted.

Female teachers will search female candidates

Nodal officer of the examination and ADM City, Amit Kumar Bhatt said that 58560 candidates will participate in 30 examination centers in the district. He told that the admit card will have barcode. Entry will be given only after thorough checking of all the candidates at the gate of the examination centre. Frisking of female candidates will be conducted compulsorily by female teachers only. It was told in the meeting that the examination will be conducted on 28th and 29th October in two shifts from 10 am to 12 noon and from 3 pm to 5 pm. Sector Magistrate and center administrators were present in the meeting.
