Last Tuesday, the UP Cabinet approved inviting bids for the development of 18 bus stations in the state on PPP mode as per the revised Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP) and Draft Concession Agreement. This is the second time that bids will be invited for the development of these 18 bus stations, which are to be developed in the first phase along with five others. The state government will develop 23 bus stations on Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode in the first phase. . The transport department in June invited two bidders to develop five bus stations, namely Kaushambi (Ghaziabad), Vibhuti Khand (Lucknow), Civil Lines (Prayagraj), Old Ghaziabad (Ghaziabad) and Agra Fort (Agra), through public-private partnership. Letter of Intent (LOI) issued.
