Marked 584 posts of Central Health Service

The 1261 posts marked for Combined Medical Services Examination-2023 are divided into Category One and Two. Appointment is to be made on 584 posts of Medical Officer grade in Central Health Service from Category One. There will be 300 posts for Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in Railways in Category Two, one for General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Corporation and 376 posts for General Duty Medical Officer Grade Two in Delhi Municipal Corporation.

Exam will be held in two phases

The maximum age of the general candidate should not exceed 32 years as on August 1, 2023. Candidates in the final year of MBBS course can also apply. The examination will be conducted in two phases. In the first phase, there will be a written examination of two papers of 250-250 marks. There is also a provision of negative marking for wrong answers. Qualified candidates in the written test will appear in the interview for 100 marks.
