UP’s new acting DGP Prashant Kumar addressed the media for the first time after taking charge on Thursday and expressed his gratitude to the government and administration. During this he said that I express my gratitude for the responsibility given to me. I will fulfill all those responsibilities. There has been a lot of improvement in the law and order system of the state so far. Law and order will not be allowed to deteriorate in future also. The government’s policy of zero tolerance against criminals will continue. He said that the Pran Pratishtha program has been completed smoothly in Ayodhya. Now preparations are being made for the Mahakumbh of 2025. Recruitment is being done in the police department in a transparent manner. This is the first time that there have been no allegations and counter-allegations regarding recruitment. UP DGP said that policemen are being trained to stop cyber crime in the state. Earlier 57 and now 18 cyber police stations have been created in the state. A lot of work has also been done regarding women’s safety in the state.
