UPMSP UP Board Exam 2024: Center made 22 kilometers away, issue will be raised in the meeting of the District Examination Committee

Kanpur : Students appearing for the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP) examination will have to cover a long distance to reach the centre. This time the center has been built 22 kilometers away. There is resentment among school managers due to this. They have registered this displeasure in the Education Department through objections. A maximum of 158 objections have been lodged in the Education Department due to the center being too far away. Due to the center being far away, about 15 thousand candidates of the district are facing problems. Their examination centers are 20 to 22 kilometers away. This topic has to be put up in the district committee meeting. Despite this, officials are finding it difficult to reduce the distance of 158 schools. The report has been submitted to the district administration by the education department.

Examination centers are made with GI tagging

This time GI tagging was used to build the UP Board examination centre. Through this technique, the school administration had to take photographs from within the school premises and upload them on the website. This time, the number of objections received is being considered as negligence on the part of the schools. It is believed that schools have not been able to understand GI technology better, due to which the distance to the center has increased. The center of Shankar Baksh Inter College, Pali Narwal is located at the longest distance in the district. The distance from the school to the center is 22 kilometers. The center of this school is situated at AB Vidyalaya Mall Road. Similarly, the center of Beeda Pali Inter College Laxmanpur is GGIC Ghatampur. This distance is approximately 20 kilometers.

Girl students will go 12 kilometers away to give their papers

The center for girls to take the examination is also situated at a distance of about 12 kilometers. Among these, Sai Public School Goa Garden is prominent. The center of the school is Crisis Inter College. Meanwhile, the center of Lakshmi Shankar Inter College School is also situated on Christchurch Inter College Mall Road. Objections have been raised to both these centers before the Education Department. The distance between the examination centers troubles the candidates the most in the morning examination. Candidates will have to leave home early for this. Due to travel fatigue and running around, they will not be able to answer the exam with full capacity. District School Inspector Fateh Bahadur Singh says that a report is being made on all the objections related to distance from the examination centre. The objections are being considered by the Education Department. The objections of the schools will be placed in the committee meeting. The decision taken in the committee will be accepted.
