UPI will be able to pay for tickets in Noida Metro, read full news

Commuters traveling in Noida Metro, who do not have spare cash to buy tickets, can now save themselves the hassle by using the UPI payment facility at all stations across the rail network. Lokesh M., Managing Director of Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) launched the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) payment facility at Sector 51 Metro station.

21 stations on this 29.7 kilometer long line

An NMRC official said, UPI facility has now started to buy tickets from counters at all stations of the Noida-Greater Noida Metro corridor. The official said that cash, credit and debit cards for purchasing tickets over the counter or NMRC smart cards at the customer care center at stations will continue to be used as usual. For information, let us tell you that Aqua Line of Noida Metro connects Noida and Greater Noida cities in Gautam Budh Nagar district. There are 21 stations on this 29.7 kilometer long line.
