According to Mohammad Danish, senior scientist of Zonal Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, this kind of situation is being seen due to the western disturbance coming through Pakistan being active in North India. Due to this, there was rain and hailstorm along with wind in many districts including Western Uttar Pradesh and Central. After Tuesday, western disturbance will move ahead from Uttar Pradesh. Because of this, the weather in the state will clear once again after Tuesday. However, the situation of rain continues till afternoon or evening. Due to this, a drop in temperature has been recorded, due to which winter has knocked.

Wind blew at a speed of 60 kilometers in Lucknow, caused damage in many districts

According to Zonal Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, the weather changed completely on Monday due to wind speed of 60 kilometers per hour in the capital Lucknow. During this time, two workers in Kairana and a farmer in Bijnor died due to lightning. In Gonda, due to the storm, an electric pole broke and fell, due to which a woman died.

Damage to paddy crops

People were surprised by the sudden change in weather in Moradabad, Rampur, Amroha. In the afternoon, dark clouds started falling and the problems of the people increased due to the dust storm. After this it started raining heavily. Along with heavy rain, hail also fell in rural areas. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of western disturbance can be seen in Moradabad and surrounding areas on Tuesday also. Similarly, there was hailstorm along with rain in Bareilly division also. Trees were blown down at many places due to the strong storm. Similar weather was seen in Shahjahanpur and Badaun and due to hailstorm, the paddy crop standing in the fields suffered a lot of damage. In Badaun and Shahjahanpur also the weather changed completely due to rain and hailstorm.

Chances of rain in 20 districts

According to meteorologists, due to the effect of western disturbance over North-East Pakistan, this type of weather has been seen in the entire North India. After the rain in the mountains, its effect is being seen in Uttar Pradesh also. On Tuesday, an alert has been issued for lightning accompanied by thunder at one or two places in western Uttar Pradesh. There are chances of rain with thunder and lightning in about 20 districts of the state.
