UP Weather Update: The process of rain continues in UP. It rained heavily in many areas of NCR on Friday night. The process of rain is likely to continue in different parts of the state on Saturday as well. However, people are worried due to the heat caused by the sunlight coming out after the rain. Due to stoppage of wind speed and sunshine in the surrounding areas including Lucknow, the effect of heat is not reducing.

The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain in some places in western UP and most parts of Purvanchal on Saturday. According to Atul Kumar Singh, scientist of Zonal Meteorological Center, Lucknow, the monsoon turf is currently moving towards the northern Terai. Monsoon-friendly conditions have been created due to the collision of the moist easterly wind coming from the Bay of Bengal and the westerly wind caused by the Western Disturbance.

Presently, till July 13, there is a condition of good rains in the state. During this, it may rain more or less. However, once again a big change can be seen in the state next week. During this, there are chances of heavy rains due to re-activation of monsoon. There is a possibility of heavy rains in the entire state on July 11.

During the last twenty-four hours, the process of rain continued in the state. It rained more or less in the surrounding areas including Lucknow. Heavy rain was recorded in western UP. Whereas in Purvanchal its less effect was seen.

In the state, 120.5 mm of rain was recorded in Mirganj of Bareilly, 86 mm in Hardoi, 41 mm in Prayagraj, 26 mm in Orai, 23.4 mm in Muzaffarnagar and 15.2 mm in Najibabad. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain till 13 July.

According to the Zonal Meteorological Center, Lucknow, there is a possibility of rain on Saturday amid the movement of clouds in the capital Lucknow and surrounding districts. The maximum temperature is expected to be 35 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 27 degree. In the last 24 hours in the state, maximum heat was seen in Lakhimpur Kheri. The maximum temperature here was recorded at 38 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25 degrees in Hardoi and Bulandshahr.

According to the Zonal Meteorological Center, Lucknow, at present a cyclonic circulation is over parts of Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining North Odisha. It extends up to 7.6 km above the mean sea level, bending towards the south with height. Another cyclonic circulation is over Northeast Arabia and adjoining South Gujarat.

The offshore trough at mean sea level is extending from South Gujarat coast to North Kerala coast. A cyclonic circulation is over North Pakistan and adjoining Punjab. Its effect is being seen in the weather of the state.
