UP Weather Update: With the activation of monsoon in Uttar Pradesh, the weather has changed once again. Due to rain at almost all places in the state in the last 24 hours, people got relief from the humid heat. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain in the state on Wednesday as well.
According to the Zonal Meteorological Center, Lucknow, there may be rain and thundershowers at some places in western Uttar Pradesh and almost all places in eastern Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. There is a possibility of thunder and lightning at one or two places in the state. Heavy to very heavy rain is expected at one or two places in western Uttar Pradesh and at one or two places in eastern Uttar Pradesh.
After this, on August 25, there may be rain and thundershowers at one or two places in western Uttar Pradesh and some places in eastern Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of lightning at one or two places in the state. Along with this, there are chances of rain at one or two places in eastern Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of similar weather in the state on August 26 as well.
On August 27 also, there may be rain and thundershowers at one or two places in western Uttar Pradesh and some places in eastern Uttar Pradesh. At present, the condition of rainy season is prevailing in the state till August 28. According to meteorologists, there is a possibility of a drop of 2 to 3 degree Celsius in the maximum temperature in the state on Wednesday. After this, there is no possibility of any major change for the next 24 hours. Then there may be an increase of two to three degrees Celsius. There is no possibility of any major change in the minimum temperature for the next 4 days.
According to meteorologists, the monsoon trough at the mean sea level is now passing through Amritsar, Karnal, Meerut, Lucknow, Gaya and Malda and going eastward to Nagaland via Assam. Its effect will be seen in the weather of Uttar Pradesh. At present, light to moderate rain accompanied with thunder and lightning occurred at some places in western Uttar Pradesh and at many places in eastern Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, heavy to very heavy rain has been recorded at one or two places in the state.
