UP Weather Update: Due to the kindness of monsoon in UP, people have got relief from the heat. Due to rain in many areas including the capital Lucknow on Saturday, the weather was pleasant and there was a drop in the night temperature. On the other hand, it rained in many parts of the state on Sunday morning as well.
Monsoon has now become fully active in the state. That’s why its effect is being seen in all parts of the state. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain with thunder in the state on Sunday as well. There is an alert of heavy rain in eastern Uttar Pradesh on 1, 4 and 5 July and in western Uttar Pradesh on another 5 July.
According to the Regional Meteorological Center, Lucknow, the movement of clouds will continue in the capital Lucknow and surrounding districts on Sunday and there are chances of rain. The maximum temperature is expected to be 33 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 24 degree. Many districts including Lucknow have received good rains so far. Monsoon will be completely kind in the first week of July. However, due to El Nino, there may be a break on the continuous rains.
According to the Zonal Meteorological Center, the state received more rain than normal on Saturday. Its effect was also seen in temperature. The weather is likely to remain like this for the time being. However, due to the activation of El Nino after some time, the wait of the people of UP for the rain may be longer. During this, there is a possibility of less rain than normal.
According to senior meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh, the neutral El Nino has warmed in the equatorial Pacific region. It has a negative relationship with the South West Monsoon. In such a situation, there is a strong possibility of El Nino becoming active in the middle of July-August of the monsoon season. Because of this, there is a possibility of negative impact on the rains in UP. In such a situation, due to less rain than normal, the effect of heat can be seen.
The state has received 19 percent less rainfall than the average even during the month of June. However, the way the IOD conditions are active in the Indian Ocean, if they continue in the same way, then it can also provide relief, because due to them the effect of El Nino is expected to decrease.
According to the Meteorological Department, a total of 22.1 mm of rain was recorded in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday morning, which is 309 percent more than the normal rainfall of 5.4 mm as on July 1. The highest rainfall in the state was 177.7 mm in Siddharthnagar, 109.3 mm in Gorakhpur and 101.5 mm in Santakbirnagar. Recorded rain. In the last twenty-four hours, the highest temperature in the state was recorded at 35.8 degree Celsius in Kanpur and the minimum temperature was recorded at 24.1 degree in Jhansi. According to meteorologists, like June, in July also, more effect of rain can be seen in western UP than in Purvanchal. In June, the monsoon rainfall in Purvanchal was 44 percent less than the long-term average, while it was recorded 30 percent more in western UP. Although the monsoon has entered UP via Purvanchal. But, from its pre-monsoon to monsoon, till now western UP has received more rains. There is a similar possibility in the future as well. In such a situation, the average monthly temperature in eastern Uttar Pradesh in July is expected to be normal or above and in western UP it is expected to be normal or below.
According to meteorologists, a cyclonic circulation is extending up to 5.8 km above sea level over central parts of southern Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, an east-west trough line is passing through the area of cyclonic winds formed in the central part of South Uttar Pradesh from Punjab to Haryana. Its effect is being seen in the weather of the state. At present, there is no possibility of much change in the maximum and minimum temperature.
