Impact of cyclonic circulation on south-east Arabian Sea

According to meteorologists, due to the effect of cyclonic circulation over the south-east Arabian Sea, a low pressure area has formed over the south-east and adjacent east central Arabian Sea. The associated cyclonic circulation extends to mid-tropospheric levels. The low pressure area is likely to move west-northwestwards and become well marked during the next twenty-four hours and further intensify into a depression over the central Arabian Sea around October 21. A Western Disturbance is seen as a trough in the mid-tropospheric westerly winds, with its axis north of 30°N latitude along 70°E longitude, at 5.8 km above sea level.
