UP Weather Update: Due to the slowing down of monsoon in UP, people are suffering due to the humidity. According to Zonal Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, the weather will be dry in Western Uttar Pradesh on Saturday and there may be rain and thundershowers at one or two places in Eastern Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, the maximum temperature in Lucknow and surrounding areas is likely to be 37 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 27 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has not issued any alert on Saturday.

According to Zonal Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, there has been a decrease in rainfall in monsoon. A total of 496.1 mm rainfall has been recorded in the state so far, which is 16 percent less than the average. Rainfall in Purvanchal is 28 percent less while Western UP has recorded two percent more rainfall. According to the data, this time the country has received the least rainfall since 1901.

According to Zonal Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, no relief is expected in September also. During this period, the temperature is expected to be above normal in most parts of the state.

According to the Zonal Meteorological Centre, the weather will remain dry in Western Uttar Pradesh on September 3, 4 and 5 and there may be rain and thundershowers at one or two places in Eastern Uttar Pradesh. During this period, the Meteorological Department has said that there is a strong possibility of lightning along with thunder at one or two places in Purvanchal on 4th and 5th September. After this, there are chances of rain at one or two places in Western Uttar Pradesh and some places in Purvanchal on 6th and 7th September. Thus, at present there is partial rain in the state till September 7.
