UP Weather Update: In the weather of UP, amidst the scorching heat, the process of thunderstorms and rains continues. In the early morning of Tuesday, the sky remained clear in most parts of the state and the effect of sunlight is being seen. There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers with a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour at some places in the state on Tuesday.

According to the Regional Meteorological Center, Lucknow, the effect of strong sunlight will go away on Tuesday. Amidst the scorching heat in the state, the maximum temperature has reached above 42 degrees. However, there is some relief due to the strong winds amidst the scorching sun. In other areas including Lucknow, there was a drop in temperature due to the storm on Monday evening. Due to the strong winds, people got relief from the heat.

This change in weather has been seen due to the activation of Western Disturbance in North Pakistan and cyclonic circulation in and around North East Rajasthan. At the same time, the mercury can reach 45 degrees this week.

In the capital Lucknow and surrounding areas, the maximum temperature is expected to be 40 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 26 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. In the last 24 hours in the state, 42.5 degree Celsius was recorded in Faizabad and 22 degree Celsius in Najibabad.

According to meteorologists, a cyclonic circulation has formed over northwest Rajasthan and surrounding areas. Another cyclonic circulation is over Southwest Rajasthan. On the other hand, a cyclonic circulation is over South Chhattisgarh and adjoining areas and a trough from this cyclonic circulation is extending from Telangana, Rayalaseema and South Interior Karnataka to Interior Tamil Nadu.

Similarly, another trough is going from North East Bihar to Chhattisgarh via Jharkhand. A cyclonic circulation has developed over Southeast Arabian Sea. The effect of these fresh weather conditions will be seen in the temperature of different regions.

  • The minimum temperature in Varanasi is 27 degrees and the maximum temperature is 42 degrees.

  • The minimum temperature in Bareilly is 23 degrees and the maximum temperature is 39 degrees.

  • The minimum temperature in Meerut is 24 degrees and the maximum temperature is 38 degrees.

  • The minimum temperature in Ghaziabad is 26 degrees and the maximum temperature is 40 degrees.

  • The minimum temperature in Noida is 24 degrees and the maximum temperature is 39 degrees.
