UP Weather Update: Due to the kindness of monsoon in Uttar Pradesh, it is raining heavily. After rains in most parts of the state in the last 24 hours, similar weather has prevailed on Thursday as well. In other districts including Lucknow, the sky is cloudy and a drop in temperature has been registered.

According to the Zonal Meteorological Center, Lucknow, there may be rain and thundershowers at some places in western Uttar Pradesh and almost all places in eastern Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. There is a possibility of thunder and lightning at one or two places in the state. Heavy to very heavy rain is expected at one or two places in western Uttar Pradesh and at one or two places in eastern Uttar Pradesh.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in Deoria, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharth Nagar and its surrounding areas on Thursday. There is an alert for heavy rains in 17 districts.

Heavy rains may occur in Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Santakbir Nagar, Basti and Gonda districts in the state. There is a possibility of heavy rains in Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Barabanki, Ambedkar Nagar, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur and surrounding areas. Apart from this, lightning is expected along with thunder in Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi and Sant Ravidas Nagar districts.

According to the Regional Meteorological Center, Lucknow, lightning may also fall in Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharth Nagar and Gonda districts. Along with this, there is a strong possibility of thunder and lightning in Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Unnao, Lucknow, Barabanki, Rae Bareli and Amethi. There is a possibility of thunder and lightning in Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur and its surrounding areas.

After this, from August 25 to August 28, similar weather will be seen in the state. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of rain in the state till August 29. On August 29, there may be rain and thundershowers at one or two places in the state.

According to the Regional Meteorological Center, Lucknow, according to the latest weather conditions, there is a possibility of a drop of 2 to 3 degree Celsius in the maximum temperature in western Uttar Pradesh, while there is no possibility of major change in other areas. After this, an increase of two to three degrees Celsius can be recorded. At the same time, there is no possibility of any major change in the minimum temperature for the next 4 days.

Monsoon According to the latest conditions of monsoon, a trough line has remained from northwest Uttar Pradesh to Bihar, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim till south Assam up to 1.5 km above sea level. Its effect is being seen in the weather of Uttar Pradesh.
