UP Weather Update: The weather of Uttar Pradesh has taken a sharp turn after the cyclonic rains. With sunshine coming out during the day, westerly winds have increased the melting. Fog has also increased. Due to snowfall in the hilly states, North India has started getting hit by cold wave. The Meteorological Department has predicted a shivering cold in the next few days due to drop in night temperature and westerly winds. Along with this, fog will also show more of its effect. In Uttar Pradesh, winter has started becoming intense with a drop of three to five degrees in mercury. The night temperature in Bareilly has reached 7 degrees. Monday morning also started with cold winds. Drivers had to face problems due to fog in other places including the capital Lucknow. The same situation was seen in most of the districts of the state. According to Zonal Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, there may be a drop of 2-3 degrees in mercury in the next 24 hours in the state. According to meteorologists, there are chances of light rain in some parts on 15th and 16th December. Generally, the weather will remain dry.
