Similarly, an alert is also issued in many districts regarding heavy rains and lightning. On August 7, heavy rains can be seen in the Terai areas of the state. At the same time, the order of rain is going to continue in the state. It is raining intermittently in many districts including the capital Lucknow. On August 7, there may be rain and thundershowers at some places in western UP, while there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at many places in eastern Uttar Pradesh. During this, there is a possibility of heavy rain and lightning at one or two places in both the parts. UP Meteorological Department’s scientist Mohd. Danish told that it may rain in Terai areas on Monday.
