UP Weather Update: Monsoon activity is being seen once again in UP. Clouds are raining heavily in many parts of the state. In many areas including Noida and Ghaziabad of NCR, the weather became pleasant due to rain on Saturday morning. Because of this, people have got relief from the humid heat. There was a change in the weather since late night. Earlier on Friday also it rained in many areas including Lucknow.
The Zonal Meteorological Center, Lucknow has expressed the possibility of thunder and lightning in many districts on Saturday. At present, the process of rain is likely to continue in the state till August 24. During this, heavy rains may also occur at some places. At the same time, the effect of humidity will also be seen.
There are chances of rain at some places in Western UP and Eastern UP on August 19 in the state. During this, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning at one or two places in both the parts. The districts which are most likely to be struck by lightning and lightning include Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Sonbhadra districts. Along with this, thunder and lightning may occur in Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Mirzapur, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Agra, Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun and its surrounding areas.
Along with this, on August 20, there are chances of rains only at some places in western-eastern Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, on August 21, it is expected to rain at many places in both the parts. During this, there are chances of heavy rain and lightning at one or two places in western UP. There is a possibility of rain at many places in western and eastern UP on 22 and 23 August. There is a strong possibility of heavy rain and lightning at some places in both the parts on 22nd, while on 24th August there is a possibility of rain at some places in western UP and many places in eastern UP.
