Chances of heavy rain these days
There is a possibility of lightning along with thunder at one or two places in the state on Thursday. There may be rain and thundershowers at one or two places in Western Uttar Pradesh and at some places in Purvanchal. After this, there are chances of rain and thundershowers at some places in the entire state on 22, 23 and 24 September. During this period, there may be heavy rain at one or two places in eastern Uttar Pradesh. There is impact of lightning along with thunder at one or two places in the state.

Change in weather due to development of low pressure area here
According to meteorologists, the low pressure area is now located over the north-western Bay of Bengal and adjacent West Bengal and northern Odisha coast. The associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 km above sea level, tilting towards the south-west with height. It is expected to move in west-northwest direction over Orissa and South Jharkhand during the next two days.
A cyclonic circulation lies over south-west Rajasthan and adjoining areas, extending up to 7.6 km above mean sea level. The monsoon trough at mean sea level is passing through Jaisalmer, Kota, Guna, Siddhi, Daltonganj, and then low over northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, north Odisha coast and then southeastwards over east central Bay of Bengal. Passing through the center of the pressure area, it is moving towards North-Eastern Bay of Bengal.
