UP Weather Update: Due to the activation of monsoon in UP, the process of rain continues in different parts of the state. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rains this week. On Tuesday also, an alert has been issued regarding rain and lightning in the state. Till Wednesday, the effect of monsoon activity will be seen in 65 districts of UP.

According to the Zonal Meteorological Center, Lucknow, at present there are favorable conditions for monsoon in Uttar Pradesh. Because of this, the process of rain will continue. On July 11, there may be rain and thundershowers in many parts of western and eastern UP. There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain at many places. There are chances of rain in different parts of the state till July 16.

According to meteorologists, the monsoon turf is moving north. Due to the low pressure area created due to this, heavy rains will continue. A low pressure area has formed over southwest Rajasthan. The Monsoon trough at the mean sea level is moving from the center over southwest Rajasthan to Kota, Satna, Daltonganj, Bankura and then eastwards towards Manipur. The trough at mean sea level is extending from South Gujarat coast to North Kerala coast. Its effect will be seen in the weather of UP.
