UP Weather Update: The series of ups and downs continues in the weather of Uttar Pradesh. While the weather had changed after the rain in the past few days, now the sun is shining. There is a feeling of shivering when going out due to wind in the morning and evening. However, generally the weather remains dry. Sunday morning started with fog in other places including the capital Lucknow. People had to face more cold due to the wind in the morning. After this, there was relief when the sun came out. According to Zonal Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, the weather will remain humid for the time being amid wind and sunshine during the day. A fresh weak western disturbance is likely to affect the western Himalayan region from December 11. Due to snowfall in the hilly states, there will be a further drop in the temperature of UP in the coming days. The cold we are feeling right now is due to the westerly winds blowing from the west. Cold wave will start in the coming days.

Fog will show effect in the morning and night

According to the Zonal Meteorological Centre, the weather in the state is generally dry at present. Light to moderate fog may be seen at one or two places in the morning and night. The weather will be dry in the state on 12th and 13th December and there is a possibility of light to moderate fog. After this, the weather will remain generally dry on 14 and 15 December. The minimum temperature is likely to drop by two to three degrees Celsius during the next 48 hours. After this, no major change will be seen in the minimum temperature. During the next four days, a gradual drop of about 2 degrees Celsius may be seen in the maximum temperature.

Western disturbance will be active in these areas

According to meteorologists, it may rain once again in some districts of Uttar Pradesh on 15 and 16 December. The weather will remain clear in other places. The fog will become more dense in the coming days. A weak Western Disturbance will affect the Western Himalayan area, whose mild effect can be seen in the western part of Uttar Pradesh. Due to westerly winds it has increased from north to north-east. There is a possibility of drop in mercury in the next three days. In many districts, people will get relief due to clear weather and bright sunshine.

Chances of rain at some places

According to the Meteorological Department, during the rains last week, Sonbhadra received the maximum amount of clouds. Change in weather may be seen after December 15. The drop in minimum temperature will increase the cold. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain at some places along with isolated heavy falls may occur over Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Light to moderate rain is possible in Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Light rain may occur at some places in Northeast India, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Andhra Pradesh. Moderate to dense fog may occur in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Northeast India.
