Lucknow: Cold continues to wreak havoc in UP. Life is busy. The Meteorological Department has issued a cold day alert in 41 districts including Ayodhya. There was no fog in the capital Lucknow on Sunday morning but the mercury dropped to 6 degrees Celsius. It is expected that the weather will be clear and the sun may also shine.
Uttar Pradesh is suffering from cold wave since last one week. There seems to be little hope of getting relief from the biting cold. There is a possibility that Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Unnao, Lucknow, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Sultanpur, There will be intense cold day in Ayodhya, Ambedkarnagar, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Hapur, Kasganj, Etawah, Auraiya, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Badaun and its surrounding areas.
