UP Weather Update: After the monsoon rains in Uttar Pradesh, once again the humidity is showing its effect. Most parts of the state have not received heavy rains in the last 48 hours, due to which the humid heat has increased the difficulties of the people. People are getting soaked in sweat in the morning itself.
According to the Zonal Meteorological Center, Lucknow, there is no rain in most parts of the state except a few places, due to which the effect of humidity is being seen in the weather. However, the process of rain is expected to start once again. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be a drop in the temperature of the capital from August 19. In Uttar Pradesh, on August 21 and 22, there will be a change in the weather due to rain in most parts of the state. Even before this, it may rain in many places. There is also a possibility of lightning.
According to the Regional Meteorological Center, Lucknow, there may be rain at one or two places in western UP on August 17, while there is a possibility of rain at some places in eastern UP. Along with this, there are chances of thunder and lightning at one or two places in eastern UP. It is expected to rain in Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Shravasti, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Santakbirnagar and Gorakhpur on Thursday.
Similarly, there are chances of rain in Basti, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, Jaunpur, Kaushambi, Banda, Mahoba, Jhansi and Lalitpur. On the other hand, it may rain at some places in Kushinagar, Deoria, Mau, Ballia, Ghazipur, Varanasi, Chandauli, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Prayagraj and Chitrakoot. Apart from this, clouds can also rain in Saharanpur, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, Barabanki, Gonda, Ayodhya.
According to the Zonal Meteorological Center, Lucknow, on August 18, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning at one or two places in eastern UP. On August 19 and 20, there may be rain and thundershowers at some places in western UP and at many places in eastern UP. There are chances of lightning at one or two places in western and eastern UP on both the days. After this, on August 21 and 22, it may rain with thunder and lightning at many places in western and eastern UP. In this way, there are chances of rain till August 22 in the state.
Scientist Atul Kumar Singh of Zonal Meteorological Center, Lucknow said that due to the effect of possible low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal, the monsoon trough which has been passing through the foothills of the Himalayas for the past several days will start moving south from August 17. With reaching near its normal position by August 18, the regional distribution and intensity of rain will start increasing over East UP from August 18.
Due to the changed weather conditions, its effect will reach in western UP around August 20. Due to this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at some places in the state. During this, there may be good rains in the southern Vindhya and Bundelkhand areas of the state. Under its effect, there is a possibility of a drop in temperature from August 19 due to the beginning of scattered rains in the capital Lucknow from the late evening of August 18.
