The morning started with dry weather in the capital Lucknow. The sky is clear and summer season continues. According to the Zonal Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at one or two places in the state on Monday. The maximum temperature in the capital Lucknow and surrounding areas on Monday is expected to be 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 27 degrees Celsius.

Five people have died due to lightning at three different places in Kushinagar district of the state. District Magistrate Umesh Mishra said that an assistance amount of Rs 4 lakh each is being given to the families of the deceased. The injured are being treated.

After this, from 20th to 23rd September, there may be rain and thundershowers at one or two places in Western UP. During this period, the Meteorological Department has not issued any update at present. There is no possibility of any major change in the maximum and minimum temperatures in the state during the next four days.

According to Zonal Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, the maximum temperature is expected to be between 30 degree Celsius to 34 degree Celsius in Barabanki, Hardoi, Kanpur, Etawah, Lakhimpur Kheri, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Ballia, Churk, Bahraich and Prayagraj on Monday. Whereas the minimum temperature can range from 25 degree Celsius to 27 degree Celsius.

Talking about Ghaziabad, Hapur and Noida, the maximum temperature of these districts is expected to be 31 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature is expected to be 27 degrees Celsius. Along with this, the maximum temperature in Mathura, Chitrakoot, Hathras, Azamgarh, Gonda is expected to be between 32 degree Celsius to 35 degree Celsius. Whereas the minimum temperature in these districts can remain up to 27 degrees Celsius.

Apart from this, the maximum temperature in Basti, Jhansi, Orai, Hamirpur, Bareilly Shahjahanpur, Najibabad, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Agra, Aligarh and Bulandshahr is expected to be between 30 degree Celsius to 35 degree Celsius, while the minimum temperature here is 25 degree Celsius. It can range from 1 degree Celsius to 28 degree Celsius. Whereas in Fatehpur, Banda, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Fursatganj, Ghazipur and Fatehgarh, the maximum temperature is expected to be between 34 degree Celsius to 35 degree Celsius. The minimum temperature in these districts will range from 25 degrees Celsius to 26 degrees Celsius.

The deep low pressure area is over Southeast Rajasthan and adjoining parts of Western Madhya Pradesh. The associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level. It is likely to move in the north-west direction in South Rajasthan and North Gujarat. The monsoon line passes through the center of the deep low pressure area, Sagar, Daltonganj, Jamshedpur and Digha and then moves in a south-easterly direction towards the north-east of Bengal. One cyclonic circulation is over Punjab and surrounding areas, the other cyclonic circulation is between 5.8 and 7.6 kilometers above sea level over the North Andaman Sea.
