UP Weather Update: Amidst the activity of monsoon in Uttar Pradesh, rain continues in different parts. In the last 24 hours, the weather changed due to rain in Western UP and people got relief from the humid heat. There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at some places in the entire state on Saturday also. During this period, there are chances of heavy rain at one or two places in Western UP. There is also a possibility of celestial brightness along with thunder.
Crops damaged due to rain at many places in Western UP
According to the Zonal Meteorological Center, the maximum temperature in the capital Lucknow and surrounding areas on Saturday is expected to be 33 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 27 degrees Celsius. Saturday morning started with clear sky in Lucknow. At the same time, the effect of rain will continue in Western UP. Due to rain, a drop in temperature was also recorded at many places. Yellow alert has been issued in western UP. Paddy crop has suffered a lot due to rain in Muzaffarnagar. In Bijnor district, the sugarcane crop fell due to rain coupled with strong wind.
Chances of rain and lightning in these districts
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning in Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Mirzapur and Sonbhadra districts on Saturday. Apart from this, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning in Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun, Hamirpur and its surrounding areas. Along with this, there is alert of lightning and thunder in Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Jaunpur, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat and Kanpur Nagar. Besides, there are chances of lightning in Unnao, Lucknow, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Amethi Sultanpur, Ayodhya and Agra districts.
Chances of rain in western and eastern UP
According to Zonal Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, there is a possibility of lightning along with thunder at one or two places in eastern Uttar Pradesh on 17, 18 and 19 September. There are chances of rain at one or two places in Western UP and at some places in Eastern UP. On September 20, there may be rain at one or two places in Western UP and at some places in Purvanchal.
Chance of rain till September 21
According to meteorologists, after this, on September 21, there may be rain and thundershowers at one or two places in the entire state. There is no possibility of any major change in the maximum and minimum temperatures in the state for the next four days.
cyclonic circulation conditions
If we look at the weather system regarding monsoon, at present there is a cyclonic circulation over South-East and Uttar Pradesh and adjacent North-East and Madhya Pradesh, 0.9 km above sea level. With this, the deep low pressure area is now over North Chhattisgarh and surrounding areas.
The associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level, bending southward with height. It is likely to move further into Madhya Pradesh during the next 24 hours. The monsoon trough is moving towards north-east towards Bikaner, Kota, Guna, Satna, well marked low pressure area centre, Jamshedpur, Digha and then east south-east towards the Bay of Bengal.
