According to the Zonal Meteorological Center, Lucknow, on August 22, rain and thundershowers may occur at almost all places in western Uttar Pradesh and many places in eastern Uttar Pradesh. On this day, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning at one or two places in the state. Heavy to very heavy rain is expected at one or two places in West Uttar Pradesh and heavy rain at one or two places in East Uttar Pradesh. On August 23, rain and thundershowers may occur at many places in western Uttar Pradesh and almost all places in eastern Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of lightning at one or two places in the state, heavy to very heavy rain at one or two places in western Uttar Pradesh and heavy rain at one or two places in eastern Uttar Pradesh.

After this, similar weather will be seen in the state on 24 and 25 August. According to the Zonal Meteorological Center, there are chances of rain in the state till August 26. There is no possibility of any major change in the maximum temperature in the state for the next 24 hours. After this, a drop of two to three degree Celsius can be recorded. At the same time, there is no possibility of any major change in the minimum temperature in the next 5 days.

According to the latest weather conditions, the low pressure area over Northeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas is now located over the central parts of North Madhya Pradesh. This cyclonic circulation extends up to 5.8 km above mean sea level, tilting southwards with the associated cyclonic circulation height. Monsoon trough at sea level is now passing through Jaisalmer, Kota, center of low pressure area over central parts of North Madhya Pradesh, Raipur, Gopalpur. From there it is going east southeast till the central Bay of Bengal and extends up to 3.1 km above the mean sea level. The effect of these conditions can also be seen in the weather of Uttar Pradesh.
