UP weather update: The weather pattern has changed in Uttar Pradesh since Monday morning. While there was an increase in cold due to the wind, the weather changed completely after drizzle in other places including the capital Lucknow. During the last 24 hours, while people felt the heat due to sunshine during the day, the weather started taking a turn after late night. Due to morning wind and rain, school going children and other people are facing a lot of problems. There are chances of major changes in the weather of Purvanchal today. According to Zonal Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, changes in weather may be seen due to rain and thundershowers at different places. The weather will be dry in western UP. Similar weather is likely to prevail in the state till December 7. According to meteorologists, due to western disturbance, an area of ​​cyclonic winds has formed in and around central Pakistan. Its area is western UP and surrounding areas. Due to this the weather has started changing. Meteorologists have predicted the return of Typhoon Michong on December 6 and 7. Because of this, its impact will be seen in the areas adjoining South Eastern UP including Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.

Chance of light to moderate rain

Atul Kumar Singh, scientist of Zonal Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, said that due to the influence of the cyclonic circulation in the troposphere located over western UP, moisture is continuously coming from the Arabian Sea. Due to the reaction of this moisture with the lower tropospheric easterly winds, the sky is cloudy in the western and central parts of the state including the capital Lucknow on Monday. Along with this, there is also a possibility of light rain at some places. Whereas, due to the impact of the outer perimeter of Cyclonic Storm Michaung formed in the Bay of Bengal, there is a possibility of generally cloudy sky and light to moderate rain in Vindhya and surrounding far south-eastern areas from 5 to 7 December.

If we talk about the minimum temperature in the state, the lowest minimum temperature of 9.4 degrees Celsius has been recorded in Muzaffarnagar. Similarly, minimum temperature has been recorded at 10.1 degrees in Meerut, 10.9 degrees in Bareilly, 11.2 degrees in Najibabad and 13.2 degrees in Moradabad. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the availability of abundant moisture in the lower troposphere and the effect of atmospheric stability, dense fog was recorded in Prayagraj on Sunday morning in the state. Minimum visibility was 50 meters. Whereas on Monday morning, moderate to dense fog conditions were seen.

Chances of rain in these districts today

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Farrukhabad, Hardoi and Sitapur on Monday. Along with this, there may also be rain in Etawah, Auraiya, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Jalaun, Unnao, Lucknow and Barabanki. Rain has been expected in Lalitpur, Jhansi, Mahoba, Hamirpur, Kanpur Nagar, Fatehpur and Rae Bareli.

Mercury will fall in rainy areas

According to Zonal Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, there are chances of rain and thundershowers at different places in Eastern UP on December 5. During this period, the weather in western UP may remain generally dry. Similar weather can be seen in the state on 6th December also. The weather is expected to remain dry in the entire state on 8th and 9th December. There is no possibility of any major change in the maximum and minimum temperatures during the next 24 hours. Difference in temperature can be seen in windy and rainy areas.

Heavy rain possible at one or two places

According to the latest weather conditions, during the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rains with isolated very heavy falls are possible over North Coast of Tamil Nadu and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Light to moderate rain may occur in some parts of Southern Odisha and Chhattisgarh with heavy rain at some places. Light to moderate rain is possible over south-eastern Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, parts of Uttar Pradesh, interior Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Light rain is possible in Gangetic West Bengal, Interior Odisha and Southern Jharkhand. Sea condition will be rough to very rough along Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha coast.
