UP Weather Update: Chilliness will increase in UP in the next 24 hours, where will be the effect of cold winds, know the weather condition

Lucknow: Cold is increasing in UP. Along with the night, the day temperature is also falling. The cold has increased due to snow falling on the mountains in Uttarakhand. The temperature in central UP and Terai areas has dropped by 4 to 5 degrees. The weather department estimates that the mercury will drop further in the coming two-three days. Due to this the chill will increase. There will be light sunshine on Sunday. But it will be cloudy on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Due to which the effect of cold will increase. The weather will generally be dry. Fog may also persist at one or two places.

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no major change in the maximum temperature during the first 72 hours, but it is likely to gradually drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius every 48 hours. Apart from this, the minimum temperature is likely to rise by 1 or 2 degrees Celsius during the first 48 hours and fall by 2-3 degrees Celsius after that.

In the last 24 hours, the lowest temperature of 4.6 degrees Celsius was recorded in Muzaffar Nagar. Apart from this, minimum temperature was recorded at 4.8 degrees in Meerut, Bareilly, 7.2 degrees in Shahjahanpur, 8 degrees in Bahraich and 5 degrees Celsius in Ghazipur. The minimum temperature in the capital Lucknow was recorded at 9.7 degrees. Whereas in the last 24 hours the maximum temperature was recorded at 29.4 degree Celsius in Banda. Apart from this, maximum temperature was recorded at 26.8 degrees Celsius in Prayagraj, 25.4 degrees Celsius in Varanasi and 24.9 degrees Celsius in Lucknow.
