UP Weather Update: There is a continuous change in the weather in the month of August in UP. After raining heavily in the past, it rained at many places on Friday night as well. Due to the rain in the night in the capital Lucknow and the surrounding areas, there was an effect on the temperature.

The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of active monsoon activities in UP from Saturday to Sunday. At present, the process of rain will continue in the state till August 10.

Weather changed due to clouds in many areas

According to the Regional Meteorological Center, Lucknow, within the next 24 hours the weather in UP will take a rapid turn. People will get relief from the extreme humidity and heat. There are chances of rain in more than 30 cities of the state from today. There has been a change in the weather since Saturday morning in the areas of NCR adjoining New Delhi.

Relief from rain in the districts of Bundelkhand

Along with this, there are dark thick clouds since morning in many districts of the state. In some areas, eye-witnessing continues between sunshine and clouds. At the same time, due to the wind, there is some relief from the humidity. Earlier on Friday, good rains were also recorded in Bundelkhand region and some districts adjoining Uttarakhand. At the same time, with the movement of scattered clouds throughout the day, the sticky summer weather remained in the surrounding districts including the capital.

According to Atul Kumar Singh, Senior Scientist of Regional Meteorological Center, Lucknow, the monsoon trough line will now move towards the foothills of the Himalayas through Madhya Pradesh. Because of this, there are chances of good rains in eastern Uttar Pradesh in the coming days.

There may be rain and thundershowers at many places in western UP on Saturday, while there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at almost all places in eastern UP. During this, along with heavy rain and lightning at one or two places in western UP, there is a possibility of very heavy rain and lightning at one or two places in eastern UP.

Chances of heavy rain in these districts

According to the Zonal Meteorological Center, Lucknow, very heavy rains are expected in Banda, Kaushambi, Fatehpur and surrounding areas on Saturday. Along with this, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Auraiya, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Jalaun, Hamirpur and surrounding areas.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Chitrakoot, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Jaunpur, Mau, Azamgarh, Ballia, Bahraich and Lakhimpur Kheri districts. Heavy rains may also occur in Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, Mainpuri and Etawah.

Lightning alert in these districts

Along with this, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning in Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Jaunpur, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur and Shravasti. There may be thunder and lightning in Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Badaun, Hamirpur and nearby areas. Lightning is expected in Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Unnao, Lucknow, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Amethi Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Agra, Firozabad.

The weather will be like this in the coming days

According to the Zonal Meteorological Center, Lucknow, on August 6, there may be rain and thundershowers at many places in western UP and at almost all places in eastern UP. During this also there is a possibility of heavy rain and lightning in many places. On the other hand, on August 7, it may rain with thunder and lightning at some places in western UP and at almost all places in eastern UP.

After this, on August 8, it is expected to rain at some places in western UP and at many places in eastern UP. On August 9 and 10, it may rain at some places in western and many places in eastern UP.

The minimum temperature in Lucknow is expected to be 27 degrees.

According to meteorologists, there will be movement of clouds in Lucknow and surrounding areas on Saturday and light rain may also occur. The maximum temperature will be recorded around 35 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature will be around 27 degree Celsius.

Slight drop in temperature at many places

In the state, the maximum temperature of the capital was recorded at 33.8 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature at 27 to 5 degree Celsius on Friday. Sporadic rains were recorded in many districts including Meerut, Agra, Aligarh, Bulandshahr, Prayagraj, Ballia, Varanasi, Kanpur, Ghazipur including 42 mm in Hamirpur and 6.0 mm in Muzaffarnagar. Due to this, a slight drop in the maximum temperature has been recorded.

Highest temperature in Basti, lowest temperature in Bulandshahr

The maximum temperature of Uttar Pradesh was recorded at 36.5 degree Celsius in Basti and 36 degree Celsius in Bulandshahr. However, an increase of up to one degree has been recorded in the minimum temperature. The lowest temperature was recorded in Moradabad at 24.5 degree Celsius.
