Sunday morning started with fog in most parts of the state including the capital Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Meerut, Ghaziabad and Noida. Due to low visibility, drivers are facing a lot of problems in the morning. At many places the visibility has been recorded as less than 25 metres. At the same time, train and air services are also being affected due to Corona. Along with this, the speed of buses is also being affected due to fog. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of dense fog in the coming days.

Know how the weather will be in the coming days

According to Zonal Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at different places in Eastern UP and Southern UP on Sunday. Dense fog may persist at one or two places in the entire state. On December 4, there will be rain and thundershowers at one or two places in the entire state. After this, there are chances of rain and thundershowers at different places in South Eastern UP on December 5. During this period, the weather in western UP may remain generally dry. Similar weather can be seen in the state on 6th December also.

Chances of drop in temperature

According to Zonal Meteorological Centre, Lucknow, there may be rain and thundershowers at different places in Purvanchal in the state on December 7, while the weather will remain dry in Western UP. The weather is expected to remain dry in the entire state on December 8. There is no possibility of any major change in temperature during the next 24 hours. After this, a gradual drop of two degrees Celsius can be recorded. The minimum temperature is expected to gradually drop by two to three degrees Celsius during the coming four days.

Increase in moisture in the weather due to easterly winds

According to Atul Kumar Singh, senior meteorologist of the Zonal Meteorological Center, moisture is continuously flowing from the Arabian Sea. Due to this, east wind is blowing. Its effect will be visible on December 3. There may be light rain at some places, while there are chances of rain in the far southern part of the state during the next 5-6 days. During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls is possible over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu coast. Light to moderate rain with heavy rain at one or two places may occur over Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Light to moderate rain is possible over parts of South Odisha, Kerala, Interior Tamil Nadu and East Madhya Pradesh. Light rain is possible in coastal Karnataka.
